Our SLVH series laboratory vacuum emulsifying mixers(SLVH-5/SLVH-10 model) feature a top-mounted homogenization system and integrate vacuum degassing, wall-scraping agitation, and heating/cooling capabilities. With a batch capacity of 5L or 10L, it offers a full suite of core industrial-scale capabilities, making it an ideal tool for laboratory R&D with low material consumption.
The key features of this laboratory-scale emulsifier mixer are the top-mounted homogenizing and mixing system with a lifting mechanism, jacketed vessel for heating and cooling, vacuum system, and hand wheel for tilting the vessel, etc. Details are provided below.
1)Top Homogenization System: The homogenizing head utilizes a rotor-stator structure with adjustable speed (up to 2,800 rpm), effectively refining various emulsions.
2)Wall-Scraping Agitation: A two-way agitator with scrapers rotates at low speeds (0–86 rpm), strengthening the mixing of the inside materials and maintaining close contact with the vessel wall to prevent material adhesion and scorching.
3)Integrated Lid: Components such as the homogenizing head, and mixing system are all integrated into the lid. The lid features an electric lifting mechanism; raising it with a single touch allows for easy material loading into the main vessel and convenient cleaning after the process is complete.

1)Medium: Water is used as the heat transfer medium (water bath heating/cooling), providing gentle and uniform temperature control suitable for heat-sensitive materials.
2)Heating Methods:
• Electric Heating (Standard): Built-in electric heating elements directly heat the water in the jacket, offering precise temperature control—ideal for laboratories lacking a steam source.
• Steam Heating (Optional): If a steam source is available on-site, jacketed steam heating can be selected for faster temperature rise.
3)Cooling Methods: Cooling water is circulated through the jacket to rapidly lower the temperature, thereby shortening the processing cycle. The water can be tap-in water or the freezing cold water from the cold water machine.
1)Standard Vacuum Pump: Maintains a vacuum level of -0.08 to -0.09 MPa during the emulsification process.
2)Functions: Remove air bubbles, prevent material oxidation, and lower the boiling point, resulting in a smoother, more stable product.
Step 1: Upon completion of emulsification, turn off the vacuum and open the vent valve to equalize pressure.
Step 2: Electrically raise the vessel lid, then tilt the vessel body using the hand wheel to discharge the product. Following is the video to show you the discharging by handwheel.
Optional water-phase and oil-phase pots can be added to disperse and dissolve water and oil phase ingredients. These materials are then drawn into the main emulsification vessel via vacuum suction, making the experimental process more closely resemble industrial production lines.
