This is an industrial cutting grinder machine specifically designed for fruit chopping. It can process whole fruits and vegetables into regular cubes or cuboids in a single, continuous operation.
This machine is widely used for dicing food ingredients such as apples, peaches, pumpkins, strawberries, pineapples, radishes, and onions.
Unlike traditional cutting equipment, the 3D dicing machine uses a centrifugal cutting principle. It is fed by a rotating propeller, slices the fruit using centrifugal cutting, then shreds it using a disc grid blade, and finally completes the dicing process with dicing strips.
The working process of a 3D dicing machine is based on three precisely coordinated steps that transform the whole material into regular cubes:
The fruit is fed into the centrifugal cutting drum via a rotating propeller, adhering tightly to the inner wall of the drum under centrifugal force.
When the material rotates with the drum to the position of the fixed slicing blade, it is cut into uniform slices. The slice thickness can be adjusted as needed.
The sliced fruit continues to move with the drum to the disc grid blade area. The disc grid blade consists of a series of parallel disc blades, cutting the sliced material into strips. The cross-sectional size of the strips depends on the spacing between the disc blades.
The strips of fruit finally enter the dicing stage, where high-speed rotating cross-cutting blades cut the fruit strips into regular cubes. The rotation speed of the cross-cutting blades needs to be precisely matched with the rotation speed of the disc blades to ensure that the cut cubes are regular and neat.
